What is Shoni’s Substack all about?

My vision is to steal ideas from techno-optimists and turn them into stories. It’s my way of presenting positive images for the future, whether near or far off. Call them sci-fi, speculative fiction, or whatever you like. But these aren’t about creating utopia. The stories contain humans with human issues and personalities and they run into conflict. They just do it on a background of an ever-improving world. Just like we will.
